What is the Great Cloth Diaper Change?
The Great Cloth Diaper Change (GCDC) is a global event that promotes the benefits of cloth diapering and coincides with Earth Day.
It began in 2011 and has since grown into a family-friendly celebration aimed at raising awareness about the advantages of using cloth diapers. The event involves a simultaneous diaper change challenge where participants come together to showcase the positive impact and benefits of cloth diapering. This annual event continues to highlight the environmental and health benefits of cloth diapering while fostering a sense of community among cloth diapering families worldwide.
When is the Event?
Kinder will host a virtual Great Cloth Diaper Change events on Friday April 19th, 2024 in our Discord community.
Register to Attend Kinder's Virtual Great Cloth Diaper Change Event
This event will be hosted virtually on Discord throughout the day.
Schedule of the virtual event:
- Participants will share a photo or selfie of themselves holding up the diaper they intend to put on their child,
- Participants will share a second photo or selfie of themselves holding our newly changed child with the diaper visible.
Note that photos are for record keeping only and will only be shared with the Great Cloth Diaper Change organization for purposes of establishing and confirming a headcount of global participation.
